MONTREAL, QC (August 2nd, 2023) – YES, a charitable non-profit that provides English-language resources, tools, and strategies to improve employment and entrepreneurship opportunities across Quebec, will be hosting a series of pop-up art exhibitions and live music events in Montreal. Over 50 jury-selected emerging local artists are excited to showcase their work at a variety of pop-up art exhibits next month, including:

Saturday, August 5, 2023, 12:00 PM-5:00 PM
Cardinal Microbrasserie-Brewing, 466 Rue Main, Hudson (QC)
Saturday, August 19, 2023, 12:00 PM-5:00 PM
Unitarian Church of Montreal, 5035 Boul. de Maisonneuve O., Montreal (QC)
Saturday, August 26, 2022, 12:00 PM-5:00 PM
Church of the Epiphany Verdun, 4322 Wellington St, Verdun (QC)

These events are free and open to the public and each pop-up exhibit will be unique, featuring a diverse mix of artwork and performances selected by a jury of leading Quebec artists. Artwork and prints will be available for sale on-site, with all proceeds going to the artists.

The events were created not only to give a platform to some of the province’s leading emerging artists but also to coach the artists so they can better make a living doing what they love. The participating artists, selected by a jury of local leaders in the arts and business community, received training in key business skills like marketing and sales prior to the events.

The artists will also plan and host an additional pop-up market at St. Jax to further develop their skills. Details below:

Friday, September 15, 4:00 PM-8:00 PM
Saturday, September 16, 12:00 PM-5:00 PM
Centre St. Jax, 1439 Saint-Catherine Street West, Montreal (QC)
