Who this program is for

Participants in our French for the Workforce program are expected to have:

  • Basic knowledge of French vocabulary.
  • The ability to form simple sentences.
  • A basic understanding of spoken French.

Pre-registration is required, and the program runs twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, held online via Zoom.

Meet Your Instructor Louis Letiecq

Louis joined YES Montréal after several years of experience teaching French as a second language to adults from diverse professional backgrounds. He holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy (Teaching Option) from the Université de Montréal.

Throughout his career, Louis has trained hundreds of learners in a variety of contexts – companies, community organizations, and unions. His expertise includes designing contextualized learning activities, facilitating interactive sessions both online and in person, and guiding adults in their professional integration.

Known for his clear communication, collaborative spirit, and empathetic approach, Louis focuses on individual progress and linguistic autonomy. He places particular value on teaching French in connection with the realities of the job market, promoting a practical, dynamic, and needs-based learning environment for adults.

With a pedagogical approach that blends rigor and creativity, Louis is deeply committed to developing training programs that foster confidence, motivation, and success.
