Throughout her career, Ms. Lynn McDonald has assisted a number of companies from different sectors in their strategic planning, financing, and governance. She has worked mainly in the investment industry, notably as vice president of private placements, at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. During this period, she was a member of the Board of directors of some fifteen companies in Canada, the United States, and Europe. From 2014 to 2017, Ms. McDonald was a member of the Business Takeovers, Major Investments, and Equity Investments Committee of Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins, an investment fund with assets of approximately $ 2 billion.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Sherbrooke, an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, and the CFA and ICD.D designations.
