These free seminars are offered over lunch as a live webinar and in-person. Seasoned professionals and guest speakers will cover a wide range of topics pertinent to entrepreneurs.

It is important to know which laws apply to your business. Aimed at entrepreneurs and small business owners like yourself, this workshop presented by the Legal Information Clinic at McGill, will arm you with the tools necessary to understand how consumer protection law impacts organizations and businesses. Topics will include legal warranties, the basic law of contracts, restrictions on advertising and labeling, deposits, and the process of resolving disputes with consumers.

Please Note: This workshop is available both in-person as well as online.

If you registered for the in-person workshop please present yourself at the YES office, situated at 666 Sherbrooke Street West on the 7th floor, 15-30 minutes prior to the start time of the workshop.

If you registered for the online workshop, you will receive an email with instructions on how to log on a few hours prior to the start time of the workshop.
