Being on the board of a non-profit involves a lot of complex decision-making. Understanding your responsibilities is key to good governance.

Presented by a lawyer and a social economy finance expert, you will discover things like:

• some key board responsibilities for non-profits incorporated in Quebec,
• real-life scenarios involving board decision-making, and
• tips for drafting clear and useful by-laws.

This workshop is interactive and offers participants the opportunity to practice useful skills for being on the board of a Quebec non-profit.

People who attend this workshop will be invited to a community of practice event with our experts at a later date. 10 people attending the community of practice event in person will also be offered a free 3-hour consultation with a lawyer.
