We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team and help dancers find the perfect fit while contributing to an engaging in-store and online customer experience.
Role Overview
The Sales and Marketing Associate is the face of our store, primarily focused on helping customers select the right dance shoes and providing exceptional service. In addition, you’ll play a small but important role in maintaining an engaging presence with our online community, supporting social media efforts as an extension of your customer service responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
Welcome customers and create a friendly, engaging in-store experience.
Assist customers in selecting the right dance shoes based on their preferences, fit, and dance style.
Provide expert advice about our products, including fit, materials, and care.
Build lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Help maintain a clean and organized store, including inventory management and attractive product displays.
Customer Engagement & Social Media
Occasionally assist in showcasing store products through quick, customer-focused social media posts or stories.
Respond to basic customer inquiries or feedback on social media, ensuring timely and professional communication.
Stay attuned to dance trends and customer feedback to ensure our online and in-store presence reflects their needs.
Monitor and respond to messages and comments across social media channels.
Create engaging social media posts and assist with content planning.
Qualifications & Skills
Retail experience
Strong sales and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
Passion for dance and familiarity with different dance styles (preferred but not required).
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) as tools for customer engagement.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
