Meet Robyn Flynn: Build Your Confidence, Brand, and Voice

Robyn is the founder and president of Le Studio Quinze, a south shore recording studio that specializes in podcasts and short-form video content. Prior to opening Le Studio Quinze, Robyn spent over 10 years working in radio, as a content producer, reporter, and talk show host. At her core, Robyn believes in the power of good storytelling, and has made it her mission to help amplify the voices of others. When she isn’t running her business or busy yapping on a podcast, Robyn can usually be found spending time with her three-year old daughter, Peyton.

From the Beginning

When did you start your artistic journey and what were some of your goals when you started?

My love of storytelling started at an early age. I was that kid who used to record the radio on her tape deck, so I could cut out the announcers and put my own voice in between songs. I was muting my TV to do play-by-play while watching hockey games. I ended up getting a DEP in professional theatre from Dawson College, which really helped me to hone my storytelling skills.

What stage are you at now? What have been your greatest achievements?

I’ve spent the last 3 years working as a freelance podcast producer, helping other people tell THEIR stories. My goal has always been to eventually open my own recording studio, where people could come to film either their podcast or video content for social media. I’m proud to say that Le Studio Quinze opened its doors in August 2025 and is proudly beginning to build its clientele!

What were/are your biggest struggles?

Like any artist or entrepreneur, financing has been the biggest challenge. But I’ve managed to bootstrap this thing into existence, and I’m determined to scale it into something profitable. That requires me to think creatively, and find alternative revenue streams that I hadn’t originally planned on.

Support and Outcomes

What was the problem you were experiencing before you came into YES?

I was at a complete loss on where to start. I knew I wanted to open a podcast studio, but I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Entrepreneurship is SCARY, and I wanted to make sure that I was covering all of my bases (like incorporating and registering my business properly, finding a leasing a space, building my offer, etc.).

What did you find as a result of using our services? What was the best thing about it?

Working with the team as YES! has been INVALUABLE to me on my artistic and entrepreneurial journey. My favourite part is their coaching program. Having someone that I get to meet with regularly, bounce ideas off of, ask for advice, has been PARAMOUNT to my success thus far. I am so grateful for Miriam and Stacey, for their support in guiding me through this journey! I’m also blown away by the workshops and webinars that are available. The accounting clinic has been very helpful to me, as well.

How do you feel about the service you have received from YES?

I honestly can’t say enough about how incredible YES is. I’ve recommended them to so many people that I’ve crossed paths with. The value that they provide for their clients is immeasurable.

Advice for Others

Do you have any other thoughts you would like to share?

If you’re on the fence about joining YES as an artist or entrepreneur, I hope that this is your sign to stop thinking about it and just DO it. I always thought that entrepreneurship was something only the rich could do. That you needed significant capital and investors to start your own business. I’m living proof that you can build something on your own, and find success on your own terms. YES has been such a huge part of that for me, and I am eternally grateful. And, if you need help with your podcast, social media content, creating a voice demo or filming a self-tape for your next audition, Le Studio Quinze would be happy to assist!
