YES Employment + Entrepreneurship Events: Upcoming Highlights
Marina Boulos-Winton, Acting Executive Director of YES Employment + Entrepreneurship, recently spoke with The Montreal Gazette’s Bill Brownstein about helping young anglos find jobs and the organization’s upcoming events. These include the Business Skills for Creative Souls Artists Conference, the What the Pop! Art-Pop Up Exhibition, and Open House events, all aimed at supporting English-speakers in Montreal.
This Thursday, the Business Skills for Creative Souls Conference will offer artists practical strategies to turn their talents into profitable ventures. Hosted by CBC’s Sonali Karnick and featuring a keynote address from Segal Centre’s Lisa Rubin, this conference is designed to help artists navigate the competitive art world with enhanced business skills.
Following the conference, the What the Pop! Exhibition will showcase the creativity of over 40 emerging artists. This free pop-up event, taking place on Friday and Saturday, will include live performances and a diverse range of artworks. All proceeds from art sales will benefit the artists directly, reflecting YES Employment + Entrepreneurship’s commitment to supporting local talent.
In addition to these events, YES Employment + Entrepreneurship offers comprehensive services for job-seekers and entrepreneurs throughout Quebec. Their support includes individual counseling, networking opportunities, and workshops tailored to help individuals integrate into the local economy.
