As part of the FSC Designing Solutions Program, and in collaboration with Dr. Amanda Keller, YES Employment + Entrepreneurship is conducting an important research study on the needs of youth aging out of the foster care system.

We are looking to speak with:

  • English speakers aged 18–40 who have aged out of Quebec’s foster care system within the last 20 years and have faced challenges finding employment (regardless of their current employment status).
  • English-speaking professionals who have first-hand knowledge of the Quebec foster care system and the broader network of services that support youth.

Your voice can help us to better understand the realities that care alumni face, which will help to develop new, targeted support services. Your story will help shape a better future.

Whether you are a caseworker, social worker, educator, youth advocate, or part of a community organization; your insight is essential!

Eligible participants will be compensated for their time. Participation may involve using an online platform and taking part in interviews and/or focus groups.
