Meet Itai Azerad: One of Our 30 Faces of YES

When Itai launched his HiFi audio company, he knew the road ahead would be demanding. Manufacturing came with daily hurdles—tight timelines, complex production issues, and the pressure to deliver a flawless product. In those early days, he turned to YES for guidance, looking for both practical advice and a sounding board to help him see the bigger picture.

Working one-on-one with a YES business coach, Itai found more than strategies and resources—he found space to talk openly about challenges without judgment and to celebrate the wins that kept him moving. That steady support paid off.

Today, his amplifiers earn rave reviews and spots on top “best of” lists, while devoted customers worldwide confirm what he set out to prove: great sound, expertly crafted, speaks for itself.

What brought you to YES, and what were you hoping to achieve at that time?

I wanted advice on starting and running my business.

Can you tell me about some of the challenges or goals you faced when you first connected with YES? Was there a particular moment or obstacle that felt especially significant?

Being in the manufacturing business, I had concrete daily challenges. It was very tough. I needed a sounding board and a big picture perspective of the challenges I faced.

How did YES support you in overcoming those challenges or moving forward in your career, business, or artistic journey?

My business coach Robert provided a sounding board, and had ideas of resources I could use, as well as knowledgeable contacts.

Were there any tools, workshops, or insights from YES that made a lasting difference?

The ability to openly discuss my challenges. Having that space to voice obstacles without judgment, paired with the discipline to acknowledge what was working well, gave me a balanced perspective. It helped me see that struggles and wins aren’t separate experiences. What counts is showing up every day, and hopefully, moving forward.

Where are you now in your journey, and what achievements or milestones are you most proud of?

We may be newcomers to the HiFi industry, but we’ve earned recognition that far exceeds our years in the market. Our products consistently exceed expectations, earning praise from every major reviewer in the field. Our amplifiers have become fixtures on prestigious year-end “best of” lists, establishing us as a standout brand despite our recent entry into this competitive space. What truly validates our work, though, are the countless emails I receive from delighted customers; fellow music enthusiasts who understand what great sound means and who share their excitement about what we’ve created.

Looking back, is there a particular moment or success that stands out as a turning point?

Fulfilling every single Kickstarter pledge was my defining moment. After two intense years of research and development—facing countless obstacles but refusing to quit—I delivered on every promise I made to my backers. That achievement proved I could execute on my vision and established the foundation of trust that everything since has been built upon.

At what stage were you in your career, business, or artistic journey when you connected with YES?

Early stages. Fabrication and establishment of my business portal.
