Duration: 12 month Contract (opportunity to transition to Full Time position upon completion)
Start date: July 1st, 2026 (estimate)- End Date June 30th, 2027
Compensation: $40,000-$45,000 salary with benefit package
Location: Based in the Montreal area and includes extensive travel across Quebec & Eastern Canada (with potential travel to US and other regions within Canada)

Earth Rangers is looking for a dynamic, confident, adventure-loving presenter to join our Montreal-based team and bring our nationally acclaimed School Assembly to life in communities across the region in both French and English

Earth Rangers is the kids’ conservation organization, committed to instilling environmental knowledge, positivity, and the confidence to take action in children.
Since 2004, we’ve inspired over 2.1 million elementary school students across Canada through our live, high-production-value school assemblies. The program is offered free to schools and is designed to be unforgettable. Our shows are energetic, interactive, and purpose-driven, consistently receiving rave reviews from students, teachers, and administrators.
With growing demand for French language programming and an increased presence across Eastern Canada, we are expanding our Montreal-based team to bring this experience to even more communities.
What You’ll be Doing - Perform. Travel. Inspire.
During the school year, you’ll travel throughout Quebec and Eastern communities delivering one or two live assemblies per day.
You will:
- Drive to schools across Quebec & Eastern Canada
- Load, unload, set up, and tear down show equipment
- Deliver high-energy, interactive presentations to large student audiences in French and English
- Represent Earth Rangers in schools and communities
- Serve as an ambassador for youth empowerment and conservation
Travel stretches may last several weeks at a time and occur multiple times throughout the school year. All travel expenses outside Montreal are covered.
In the summer months, your focus will shift to:
- Learning and rehearsing the new presentation
- Professional development and content refinement
- Flexible scheduling while preparing for the upcoming tour season
When there are no scheduled shows:
- You may support light content review, quality assurance, or administrative tasks
- If no additional tasks are assigned, those days are considered free days

What We’re Looking For
Core Qualifications:
- Fluent in both French and English and comfortable speaking to a large audience in both languages
- Experience acting, delivering presentations, and/or facilitating educational programs with a young audience
- Ability to set up and adjust A/V equipment (training will be provided)
Position Requirements:
- Extensive travel
- Valid driver’s license
- Criminal record check
- Ability to lift 50lbs and capable of meeting the physical demands of the position
