Cook (NOC 63200)

In this position, your duties will include:

• Prepare and cook meals and individual dishes according to the restaurant menu and recipes.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces and garnishes, and organize the cooking station before service.
• Check food quality, cooking temperatures, portion sizes and presentation before serving.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures and keep the kitchen, utensils and equipment clean.
• Monitor food supplies, rotate stock and report ingredients requiring replenishment.
• Coordinate the preparation of orders with kitchen staff to ensure timely and consistent service.

Terms of Employment:

• Working hours: 35 hours per week, full-time.
• Wage: CAD $18 per hour.
• Vacation: Two weeks of annual vacation, with vacation pay equivalent to 4% of gross wages.
• Expected start date: As soon as possible.
