Restaurant BANGKOK Express is a vibrant Thai restaurant located in the heart of Montreal. We are known for our authentic Thai cuisine and friendly atmosphere. We are looking for a passionate and skilled cook to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional dining experiences to our customers

MAIN DUTIES

• Prepare and cook Thai dishes using traditional recipes and techniques;
• Ensure food quality and safety, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations;
• Assist in planning and developing menus, considering seasonal and local ingredients;
• Maintain kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards;
• Collaborate with restaurant management to set and achieve sales goals and maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cook in a Thai restaurant or similar environment
• Knowledge of Thai cuisine and cooking techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Educational level

• Secondary -General course (Diploma) or
• Vocational school diploma / Certificate

Years of Experience

• Min 7 to 11 months of experience in a similar position

Salary Offered

• According to experience of $20 to $36 per hour

Language

• English or French

Number of Hours per week: 35 to 40 hours
