Description
High Tech Genesis is seeking a Product Development Project Manager to collaborate with the engineering department in overseeing and managing product development projects.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the development of new products and improvement of existing products by ensuring that the product development process is followed.
- Resolve daily issues by leveraging the project team or escalating if necessary.
- Act as the right hand of the Head of the Engineering department.
- Assist in managing resources, budget, inter-department coordination, planning and all other activities needed in managing an engineering department.
- Coordinate and track activities to remove roadblocks to ensure that projects are delivered according to the scope, timeline and budget.
Required skills and experience:
- Minimum 7 years work experience and 3 in a similar role.
- Experience implementing or following a project management process
- Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall concepts
- Must be extremely organized to be able to manage multiples projects simultaneously and clearly explain progress and blocking issues
- Experience in development of consumer products
- Experience using Jira as a project management and product development tool
- Must be able to understand electrical, mechanical, firmware and software designs.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
