Our growing team is currently seeking preferably a bilingual, passionate, and hard-working Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience and an interest in Pediatrics. Join our dynamic team as we continue to work hand in hand with children of all needs to create functional goals geared towards an independent and fulfilling daily life.

 

The full-time and/or part time Pediatric Occupational Therapist will administer occupational therapy to our clients on an intermittent basis as we specialize in the assessment and treatment of infants and children with a variety of diagnoses, including addressing gross motor, fine motor, visual motor, writing, self care and social skills.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy;
  • Bachelors or Masters in Occupational Therapy;
  • Member of the Occupational Therapist Order (OEQ);
  • Bilingual English and French (written and spoken);
  • Experience working with a pediatric population is an asset;
  • Experience in a school environment is an asset;
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is an asset;
  • Interest working in the community;
  • Driver's license with access to a vehicle is an asset;
  • Proof of professional liability insurance

 

Responsibilities

  • Complete evaluations and screenings in clinic and daycares;
  • Determination of treatment plans and intervention plans;
  • Manage individual therapies;
  • Preparation of materials for therapies;
  • Prepare and update according to the rules of the OT professional order (OEQ).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams (Teachers, Speech Therapist, OT, etc);
  • Participate in the elaboration and evaluation of objectives in intervention plans;
  • Recommendations for acquisition of new materials;
  • Support and advise parents, teachers and other stakeholders
