Description

The role of the Field Support Representative is to provide quality data entry and/or conduct review of original items, as well as LKQ (Like, Kind, Quality) research and pricing of those items. This is a process-oriented role, where edjuster’s standard claims handling methodologies are followed with respect to adjuster and policyholder communications and reporting, and with respect to how all product information is collected on each and every claim.

As part of this role, responsibilities included, but are not limited to the following:

  • Complete the data entry of lists and/or conduct reviews/revisions of mobile app entries.
  • Price common household items using edjuster’s database and/or generic price list.
  • Conduct research and pricing of contents based on like, kind and quality valuation by working with various edjuster research methodology of completed claims inventories, schedule of loss forms and from contractor’s lists.
  • Conduct valuation of complex claims and may be required to organize resources to assist with subsequent valuation.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to team members while completing valuation.
  • Ensure ongoing communication with Content Claims Specialists.
  • Communicate with the policyholder, where necessary, to finalize pricing.
  • Research LKQ replacements for high value content items.
  • Obtain quotes and estimates from vendors.
  • Provide weekly updates to Content Claims Specialists and Claims Supervisor.
  • Adhere to claim deadlines.
  • Document and upload pertinent claim information and maintain thorough work log notes.
  • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • French Language Skills are required
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset
  • A Secondary School diploma
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office/Outlook, etc.)
  • Employee must provide their own high speed internet service (a portion will be reimbursed)
  • Company equipment including laptop will be provided. It is the employee’s responsibility to care and maintain the equipment, as per policy
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
  • Strong active listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new technology
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve
