services to help Quebecers find employment and start and grow businesses.

Are you an experienced Events Coordinator ready to lead the planning and execution of diverse and dynamic events? As an integral member of the YES Employment + Entrepreneurship marketing team, you'll collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and Special Events, working in tandem with program staff. Your primary mission: to professionally and expertly coordinate the seamless execution of a wide range of YES events, including networking events, speaker series, art conferences, and fundraising galas.

Position Summary
The Events Coordinator will work with the Director of Marketing and Special Events to plan and manage logistics for all YES events (in person and online) including networking events, speaker series, Artists' conference, fundraising events and other events and outreach as directed.

The Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
 Create and maintain the annual events calendar and associated timelines.
 Coordinate event logistics, vendor arrangements, staffing, and manage follow-up and evaluation processes.
 Act as the primary point of contact for events, maintaining clear communication with staff and stakeholders.
 Lead run-throughs to ensure smooth event execution and conduct post-mortems for evaluation.
 Coordinate services with vendors for catering, audio-visual equipment, decorations, and secure suitable venues.
 Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure expenditures align with allocated resources.
 Provide on-site management during events to ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot issues.
 Work with the marketing team to promote events through social media and online channels.
 Prepare and distribute event-related materials, and compile event reports for evaluation.
 Assist in transforming feedback into actionable insights for continuous event improvement.
 Work closely with event committees, engage volunteers, and collaborate with senior management and program staff.
 Lead efforts to secure silent auction items and donations for the flagship annual Tune In To YES fundraiser.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in event planning, hospitality, business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
 Minimum of 2 years of event coordination experience
 Fluent in both verbal and written English, with a solid grasp of French.
 Exceptional organizational and planning skills with acute attention to detail.
 Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with ease.
 A natural collaborator, adept at engaging diverse stakeholders effectively.
 Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing priorities, manage processes, and enjoy a fastpaced environment.
 Flexible and prepared to work off-hours as required, including evenings or weekends during event times.
 Experience working with volunteers at a committee level is an asset.
 Familiarity with non-profit or fundraising organizations is considered an advantage.
