Description
Saint- Antoine 50 + Community Centre is a not-for-profit organization providing social services for vulnerable seniors in our community. Our goal is to support, and encourage their autonomy while helping them develop healthy lifestyle habits.
The Cook prepares meals which are both served in the Centre and frozen for distribution to those older adults who cannot come to the Centre for a hot meal.
Tasks:
- Plan a weekly menu of at least 5 different meals per week
- Prepare 40-50 servings of each meal to be frozen
- Pack frozen meals for distribution to older adults
- Prepare and serve in-house meals (one day a week)
- Purchase of groceries.
Requirements:
- Mapaq food safety certified
- Preferably have a car so can do groceries
- One evening a month is requied
- Work Conditions:
Contract position replacing a sick leave.
35 hours per week. Working hours are 8:30 to 4:30 pm with an occasional evening
Salary: $18.00 per hr
