NEW! Returning to Work: A Survivor’s Guide to Workplace Accommodation
March 17, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm UTC+0
FreeDue to lack of knowledge and fear of negative outcomes, Canadians with disabilities do not request any workplace accommodations.
This workshop, led by a Human Resources professional and concussion survivor, Claudia Cavallaro – will provide you with general information about employee rights related to the disclosure of a medical condition and the request for reasonable accommodation in the workplace. You will also learn about energy management strategies including the Four P’s principle to help you counter the crash-and-burn syndrome commonly experienced after a disability.
This workshop is for individuals with disabilities (unemployed, entering the workforce, or employed and returning to work), employers interested in accommodating current or prospective employees, caregivers, and the general population.
Speaker: Claudia Cavallaro | Human Resources Professional
Pre-registration is required. Available as an online, live-streaming webinar.
Once you have registered, you will receive an email with instructions on how to log on a few hours before the workshop.
