HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM ALL OF US AT YES!

PLEASE NOTE OUR OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED FROM FRIDAY DECEMBER 23ND UNTIL FRIDAY JANUARY 6TH, INCLUSIVELY.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN THE NEW YEAR!

WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO MAKE A SPECIAL YEAR-END DONATION?

We are launching our 2017 Annual Fundraising Campaign!

The holiday season is upon us and for many, it’s a time of reflection and celebration.
With all of this going on, it is easy to forget about the true spirit of the holidays - giving!

In the true spirit of helping others, we ask that you make a charitable donation of any amount to YES and give a gift that offers hope and meaning to those struggling the most. This gift is an investment in someone’s future -  it provides a young person with the resources and motivation to lift themselves out of unemployment, an entrepreneur the opportunity to create a sustainable business,
or an artist the chance to live comfortably off their work.

Watch the stories of YES Clients Fabia, Samantha and Alvin and see for yourself, the impact your gift can have:

As a registered charity, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to enable us to provide  our programs
and services to the over 4,800 individuals who walk through our doors each year.

Our goal is to  achieve $35,000 by March 31, 2017.

YOU CAN CHANGE SOMEONE'S LIFE. PLEASE GIVE TODAY.

LEARN HOW MAY HOURI LAUNCHED HER BUSINESS WITH YES' HELP!

May Houri of Chocolata
www.chocolata.ca
May Houri graduated in 1999 with a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from  Algonquin College in Ottawa, and in 2001 she moved back to Montreal to pursue a career in Sales & Marketing in the Hospitality industry. Through word of mouth, she came to YES last year to get guidance to launch her business, Chocolata, a dessert catering company specializing in custom-themed sweet tables.

“I’ve worked in sales for a number of years, but I didn't really know what I wanted out of my career,” May says. “Since starting my business, I have been able to enhance my sales expertise to cultivate a stronger skill set and reach new customers.”

“It has been a year now that I am in this full-time and it has been a wonderful experience” she continues. “YES has been a key element in my success and my monthly coaching sessions with my YES Business Coach have allowed me to really focus on growth and where I can create more income streams, all the while doing what I love.”

“I read somewhere that the most successful athletes and business people have coaches they confide in and rely on to push them further,” May says. “They continue to get coaching to maintain their peak level and to keep growing. This is true in every essence of the word. Thank you to Kurt for keeping me accountable and for helping me grow!”

Stay tuned for more from May as she is expanding into party styling, taking the idea of a themed sweet table and adapting it to the entire event. She is also looking into going wholesale with one of her uniquely crafted desserts.
